Sign up for Kid's Classes Instructions!

Ok. Here's what you do.

1. go to www.lab5fitness.com
2. click on sign up on top right corner, follow instructions for account info.
3. Goto online store, click classes, then sign up for whatever kid's pass program you would like.

***if you are already a member, click on schedule, then online store, etc.

****Due to parent feedback, we are open to allowing 5yrs and up in both the Ballet class, and the 4:30pm Thursday Girl's Martial Arts class.

$240.00 for 4 classes per week

Tuesday at 3:30pm, Kid's Martial Arts with Jessie, Ages 4-8

This is a fun, high energy martial arts class for kids that includes basic self defense mechanics like kicks, punches, blocks, jumps and more. Designed for free expression and discipline, this class will leave your child invigorated and eager to learn more. (*No experience is required). Please sign up and reserve your class today, space is limited to 15 LAB5 kid community members. **Parental approval and authorization is required.**

Tuesday at 4:30pm, Kid's Ballet with

Sean, Ages 9-12

This class teaches the fundamentals of classical ballet along with creative movement. The 50-minute class will include a mix of focused, traditional exercise and educational games. Students will work on proper alignment and posture, positions of the feet and arms, jump and turn preparation, rhythm and musicality. Classes will follow a classic ballet class format: warm-up, BARRE work, stretches, center and across the floor exercises, choreography and reverence. We will take breaks from traditional exercises to play games that will help with balance and posture! This class is a blast for kids! This class is low-impact, open to all levels and is a great place to start at the LAB. (*No dance experience is required). Please sign up and reserve your class today, space is limited to 15 LAB5 kid community members. **Parental approval and authorization is required.**

Cassandra, Ages 4-8

Kids Yoga is a fun and creative approach to yoga that can be very helpful for children whose bodies are still developing. The use of animated poses and basic stretching exercises promote strength, flexibility, coordination and body awareness. Breathing and visualization techniques teach kids how to focus, relax and develop self-control. Kids will improve concentration and focus, stimulate their imagination and help to release energy in a fun, safe environment. Using interactive games and animated postures, kids learn about animals, nature and basic anatomy through yoga. This class is low-impact, open to all levels and is a great place to start at the LAB. (*No experience is required). Please sign up and reserve your class today, space is limited to 15 LAB5 kid community members. **Parental approval and authorization is required.**

Thursday at 4:30pm, Martial Arts with

Jessie, "Girls Only" Ages 9-12yrs

This is a high energy, style of self defense using blocking techniques, simulated punches and amazing kicks. All students begin their training with repetitions of basic self defense exercises for strength, coordination and balance. Students also learn traditional forms (dance of martial arts movements), along with practical applications, and fighting techniques. Some self defense mechanics like kicks, punches, blocks, jumps will be used. Designed for free expression and discipline, Learn awareness of surroundings, how to trust your instincts, channeling fear into anger, self confidence, and mental focus; LAB5 style. This class is open to all levels and is a great place to start at the LAB. (*No experience is required). PowerReformer and All Levels Reformer

Do you like circuit training? If so, check out our classes at LAB5fitness! We have a unique circuit training program on a pilates reformer machine. Our classes are 50 minutes of strength training circuits combined with cardiovascular bursts to efficiently burn fat and calories.

We offer PowerReformer for the hard core folk, and All Levels for everyone who wants to get a full body workout with modifications.

These classes are currently my favorite to teach. I provide awesome music and a supportive atmosphere. Please see my schedule on the website and come try a free class if you're in Capitol Hill.

Lab5Fitness Classes!

Train with me at Lab5Fitness! PowerLab Pilates, TRX, Brutal Barre and private sessions.


PowerLab Pilates is a high energy pilates class on the reformer. No "mellow" workout here. You WILL sweat!

TRX Suspension training is based on body weight, suspension, and angle to provide resistance to your workout using straps. A fun, "tabata bootcamp" style of workout.

Brutal Barre will take you leg and butt shaping to a new level! A high energy sculpting class based on ballet pliet's, squats, exercises using light weights, and exercises on the ballet barre. Sweat and burn!
